She spent thirty years in middle management at a large multi-national corporation, traveling worldwide and lecturing across the US while continuing her spiritual studies and practices. Jo has devoted more than four decades to meditation, dream journaling, writing and art. Her visionary mandalas come to her while in meditative states of consciousness, presenting messages, design and meaning. Her mandalas are used around the country in private healing practices, in spiritual centers, and by doctors and dentists who report their patients experience states of calm and peace while in treatment.
Residing in Sarasota's spiritual community, Jo continues her esoteric studies while developing and teaching spiritual & self-empowerment seminars with her partner, Patricia. She's co-leader with Patricia of a large women’s meditation group in southwest Florida. Jo was recently voted "Favorite Meditation Leader" for an unprecedented third year by Natural Awakenings Magazine which annually recognizes individuals and businesses for spiritual and community leadership.
Jo publishes an internationally distributed weekly newsletter called Spiritual Connections in which she offers spiritual news, events, and meditation information. Additionally she writes a monthly journal containing uplifting thoughts reflecting upon current events with a view to understanding their spiritual implications. She is a staff writer for Drunvalo Melchizidek's monthly Spirit of Maat E-Magazine. She organizes ceremonial gatherings for community spiritual events and in her spare time, she's working on a book called The Messages of the Mandalas.
